KEY ELEMENTS OF SELECTING SOLID STATE WELDERS
· High Degree of Reliability
· High Efficiency
· Little Maintenance Required
· Reliability of Operation
· Modular Design
· Compact Dimensions
Solid State tube welding systems are designed as economical modular
units based on transistor technology ranging from 50 to 2000 Kw.
The ideal frequency selected from a range of 50-600 KHz guarantees
optimal conditions for HF welding of steel, aluminum, brass or copper.
The control, regulation and monitoring functions can either be
implemented locally or linked to a down stream seam annealing process.
Using the adjustable support, the inductor positioning can be set in up
to three axes in any of the three following ways - manually, using in
electric motor or by numerical control.
Induction and conduction heating of tubes are keys to increase productivity and quality assurance.
HF seam welding for tubes and shaped sections, MF seam annealing,
induction tube heating for a range of subsequent processes such as
sizing, tube bending, tempering, coating etc are key aspects of this
technology. A decisive factor in the manufacture of tubes is the
precise matching of all the machining processes to each other.
