I've been looking on the internet to purchase a welder for home use. I have just a few questions I hope someone can help me out with.
What I' looking for is a some what cheap welder that I can use to make some repairs to my boat trailer as the come along.
Which brand would be good for a now and the use? I'm looking for one around $100-$200..00
What type of welder ( mig,stick ect ) should I be looking for to accomplish this? I don't have a 220 volt outlet at all so I would need one that will work with 110Volt or so.
What type would I need to use to make small repairs to a aluminum boat? I have a few small holes about the size of drywall screw.
What are the advantages/disadvantages of mig,stick welder ect. ?
Any help/ information would be great!
