Wiring for 575v 3phase and 1phase - Miller Machines, TIG & MIG 2 Years, 1 Month ago
Hey guys, Ive just purchased two Miller machines that I need some help with wiring for 3phase and 1 phase.

The Miller 250 Syncrowave is set up for 575v/1phase or atleast the tag on the front of machine says 1phase.

The Miller CP-300 MIG is 575v/3phase.

I am going to post pics of both panels inside of machines and the breaker boxes and service I have to work with. I basically need to know as long as I take L1 in the machine and go to L1(left)terminal in the box, then L2 in the machine and go to L2(middle) terminal in the box, and L3 in the machine and go to L3(right) terminal in the box. Will this be OK?

I know there has to be more to it than that but am I on the right track?

This is the other image of the panel in the machine. L1 on machine panel goes to the left terminal of the big box with 120v slow blow fuses????

I am going to get an electricial to do the work but I want to have an understanding of what is required for the job.

Thanks guys, anything at all will help.
