hi what electrodes are best to use overhead, and what technique too> i have welded for a while but am finding it a bit difficult. any particular position to put your hands in?thanks

The second from last number in an electrode designation ie; 6010, 7018 and 7024, designates the welding positions. The number "1" means ALL POSITION and the number "2" means FLAT & HORIZONTAL.
If you have a DC welder I would suggest a 6010 or 7018. If you have an AC welder try 6011 or 7018AC.
